Our Story

How three cousins built
a home in Tampa Bay

Chapter 01 — It started in Cuba

Yosmary and Yosberky are sisters. Yubisleidy is their cousin — but in their family, that word never quite captured it. The three grew up together in Cuba, in a household where caring for the home was a daily act of love, not a chore.

Their mothers taught them that a clean house was how a family showed respect for the people who lived in it, and for the guests who entered. That lesson would shape everything they would build later — they just didn’t know it yet.

Chapter 02 — A new home in Florida

Twenty years ago, the family came to Florida — looking for the same thing every family looks for: a better life, opportunity, safety. They settled in Tampa Bay with no capital beyond their bond, their work ethic, and a Spanish that would soon mix with the English of the Suncoast.

It wasn’t easy. New language, new culture, new expectations. But the three cousins held something most newcomers don’t — they had each other.

Chapter 03 — Learning every corner of Pinellas

For more than 15 years, the three worked in the cleaning industry across every corner of Tampa Bay — from historic homes in Snell Isle to beachfront condos in Clearwater, downtown offices in St. Pete, and vacation rentals along the entire Suncoast.

They learned the rhythm of every neighborhood. They learned which products worked on Florida humidity. They learned the difference between a clean that looks done and a clean that feels done. And along the way, they learned something more important:

Clients were tired of big, faceless companies. They wanted someone they could trust by name.

Chapter 04 — Suncoast Shine was born

Suncoast Shine was founded out of that simple truth. Three women from one family, with one conviction: that cleaning can be many things — but above all, it must be personal, consistent, and honest.

Every home they clean feels like their own. Every client becomes part of their extended family. The cleaning is professional. The care is personal. That’s the difference — and that’s the promise.

“We don’t just clean houses. We bring the care we’d give our own home to yours — because that’s how our family was raised, and that’s how we choose to build a business.”

— The Founders of Suncoast Shine

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about our cleaning services

What's the difference between standard and deep cleaning?

Standard cleaning covers surfaces, floors, kitchens, and bathrooms — what you’d expect for a recurring visit. Deep cleaning goes further: baseboards, inside appliances, detailed grout work, light fixtures. Most new clients start with a deep clean, then transition into recurring service.

How much does house cleaning cost in St. Petersburg?

Pricing depends on the size of your home and the type of cleaning. Standard recurring service in St. Petersburg starts at $120, with one-time deep cleans typically running $200–$350. Send your ZIP code and we’ll quote your exact home within the hour.

Are your cleaners insured and background-checked?

Yes — every member of the Suncoast Shine team is fully background-checked, trained in-house, and covered under our liability and bonding insurance. You get the same trusted cleaner every visit.

Do you offer same-day or next-day cleaning service?

Yes, subject to availability. Same-day turnovers are especially common for our Airbnb partners in Downtown St. Pete and Clearwater Beach. Call us directly for fastest scheduling.

What products do you use? Are they pet-safe?

We use professional-grade products by default and offer eco-friendly, pet-safe alternatives at no extra cost. Just let us know during booking if anyone in the home has sensitivities.

Do you clean Airbnb properties in Clearwater Beach?

Absolutely. Airbnb turnover is one of our specialties — we serve hosts across St. Petersburg, Clearwater Beach, Indian Rocks, and Tampa Bay with same-day service, restocking, and 5-star guest-ready results.

How long does a typical house cleaning take?

A standard 2-bedroom home takes about 2–3 hours; larger or first-time deep cleans can take 4–6 hours. We give you an exact time window when we send the quote.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

Not at all. Most of our recurring clients give us a code or key. Every team member is bonded, insured, and background-checked — your home is safe with us.
